August Belfast event now boasts even more top acts!
Even more musical goodness has been added to Belfast Belsonic 2011 in association with Absolut with Liam Gallagher’s Beady Eye, American rockers 30 Seconds To Mars, London rapper Example and great-indie hopefuls The Vaccines now all playing Custom House Square in August.
Jared Leto’s band will play the city first on Tuesday August 16 with special guests for the gig to be announced. Example will support Dizzee Rascal the following night, Wednesday August 17 with recent collaborator on the Stone Roses-sampling ‘Unorthodox’ Wretch 32 also appearing. Then Beady Eye and The Vaccines play together on Saturday August 20 with more special guests to be announced. Other headliners at the mini-festival include Primal Scream, Elbow, Plan B and The Specials.
Tickets for the Beady Eye and 30 Seconds to Mars dates go on sale this Friday, May 6 at 9am at £32.50 and £31.50 respectively. Tickets for the Example date are already on sale at £31.50.
