30 Seconds To Mars frontman Jared Leto has told Triple M that his band plans a very quick return to Australia after their involvement in the recently-completed Soundwave Festival.

Leto suggested that 30 Seconds To Mars could even be back before the end of the year after having ‘a really great time’ Down Under.

“We’re plotting and planning to return hopefully before the end of the year,” Leto told Triple M’s Higgo.

The positive reception the band routinely receives in Australia is a major factor behind the band’s desire to come back to the country as soon as possible, according to Leto.

“We’ve always had a really great time coming to Australia,” he said.

“From the very beginning, the first show we played in Australia was explosive and it’s always been like that.”

“So (we’ve) been fortunate from the beginning and I think these festivals have reconfirmed all of that for us and made us even more excited about coming back.”
