No act as rocker Jared Leto flies into town

HOLLYWOOD heartthrob and emo rock god Jared Leto has warned his polarising peroxide mohawk may not last much longer.

The frontman of chart toppers Thirty Seconds To Mars, back on tour in Australia with new record This Is War, said while he was having fun as a blond, it could all be over tomorrow.

"I like the mohawk because it's a good haircut for battle ... and it's fun. It's not like I have to show up in an office tomorrow," he told music editor Kathy McCabe.

The band has become more successful than the average actor-fronting-band vanity project but Leto said he will never use his star power to make fans do ridiculous things which look funny from stage.

"I look at it that I am the servant of the fans for the evening, to put on the best show for them," he said.

Their record's success comes after their label threatened them with a $30 million breach-of-contract lawsuit which was eventually dropped.
