REVIEW: 30 Seconds To Mars Rock Melbourne CBD at Take 40 Live In The City Thanks To Nissan Micra

30 Seconds To Mars absolutely rocked Melbourne's CBD last night in an exclusive laneway concert for Take 40 Live In The City, thanks to Nissan Micra!

Fans and Echelon members alike endured a chilly autumn night to see 30 Seconds To Mars, led by the powerful Jared Leto (the object of affection for many), perform in an amazing live setting.

After fans had queued for hours, 30 Seconds To Mars kicked the show off with 'Night Of The Hunter', closely followed by their smash hit 'Closer To The Edge'.

With brother Shannon and guitarist Tomo in tow, Jared had the crowd enraptured during this epic song, enlisting them to put their fists up in the air and shout "no, no, no, no" at all the right places.

The title track from their latest album 'This Is War' was another hit, sparking a Leto led chant of "THIS IS WAR! THIS IS WAR!"

At this point, four giant red balloons were let into the crowd, adding some colour to the amazing Melbourne backdrop.

Stripping it back to an acoustic set for their latest single 'Hurricane', 30 Seconds To Mars then finished the show after their hit 'Kings And Queens', leaving fans elated.
